Continuing our coverage of Sao Paulo Fashion Week's swimwear shows last week, we now take a look at Agua de Coco's 2011 collection. Inspired by the World Heritage sites currently distributed among 17 locations in Brazil, swimwear designer Liana Thomaz's compositions beautifully explored the historic sites in graphics, cutouts, folds, drapings and braids. The theme was masterfully executed by Agua de Coco's creative team, conveying an urban flair to the pieces that is distinguished and very sophisticated. Click for the full review!

Sao Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW) kicked off yesterday evening and Cia Maritima closed the night, with a star-studded cast of international models. Esti Ginzburg (Israel), Sylvia Geersen (Holand), and Brazilian supermodels Isabeli Fontana, Izabel Goulart and Emanuela de Paula, took to the runway in a glitzy collection inspired by the exotic land of Morocco. Lenny Niemeyer didn't disappoint in her 2010 Summer and High Summer collections, delivering high-fashion designer swimwear at its best! For her Summer collection, she drew inspiration using the perspective of a bird's eye-view, a woman who glides over sunny landscapes in search of her own identity. The campaign for the recently released Vix Swimwear 2010 High Summer Collection brings Holland-born beauty Celine Brink back to the tropics (as you may recall, she also starred in last year's campaign for Agua Doce). Designer Paula Hermanny build upon successful elements of her Vix Cruise Collection, such as ruffles, bia tube accessories/design and snake print and introduced a "sunnier" palette, with bright yellow, cool white, chic aqua turquoise and a smashing sunset coral mix.
