2010 marks the 15th year that Victoria's Secret puts together its swimwear catalog, filled with the latest tendencies in women's swimwear - and of course, some of the best looking models in the industry! To celebrate the landmark, VS released a video with a montage of the 15 years of the specialty catalog. One of the most interesting aspects (for us!) is to see how the trends in swimwear change over the years. Check this out!

Victoria Secret's 2010 Swim line includes a piece they're calling the "topless bikini" - a swimsuit with the sides cutout and connected at the center (we know, so far, the description of a monokini). But, the version VS carries has a bandeau top that can be removed from the ensemble for that original topless monokini look from the 60s.

The Brazilian branch of C&A, one of the leading 'fast fashion' style retail companies in parts of Europe and Latin America, is continuing the concept of accessible high fashion by partnering with renowned designers for their collections. For its 2010 Beachwear line, C&A Brazil invited designer Amir Slama (founder and designer for Rosa Cha for years) to pen 70 items, including bikinis, one-pieces, cover-ups, beach bags, sandals and men's swimwear. Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes stars a portion of the campaign, shot in Brazil back in October.

With L*Space's 2010 Spring collection out now for a few days, we had enough time to cast our final votes on our favorite swimsuits - which you can see below. There are a lot of stunning chain accent details, bold geometric prints, vibrant shades and some very sexy back numbers in Monica Wise's new collection. We love this set, all pieces are modern, sexy and chic. And did we say eco-friendly? The brand is launching an entire line, "Slinky", with swimwear that is made from Sarona fiber, a naturally occurring starch in corn kernels, as well as adopting production processes that reduce harmful emissions to the environment. Now, that's a beautiful thing!

Victoria Secret's Angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Ana Beatriz Barros look absolutely stunning in the December edition of UK's GQ magazine. Alessandra dons three different monokinis, proving once and for all how sexy a well designed black monokini can be. Simply hot, hot, hot!
