Background: Raised in a seaside community in New England, designer Dana Duggan grew up at the beaches, going boating, swimming and living an active lifestyle. Being in love with the coastal way-of-life, Dana is strongly influenced by her New England life and environment. Having prior experience as an Apparel Designer for Reebok International, Dana brings her love of the beach and practical knowledge to South Shore Swimwear. Dana names Gianni Versace as a main icon, “for his use of exquisite fabrics and the creation of the Supermodel and the luxury lifestyle”. True to the Dana’s vision to cater to women and girls who desire something new and original, she notes that South Shore Swimwear customers can “choose custom embellishments such as direct embroidery or appliqués to make their garment truly unique and especially for them”.
