Agua de Coco 2013 Collection
For its "Turkish Portrait" campaign, the creative team of Agua de Coco chose the ethereal location of Pamukkale ("cotton castle") to capture the Turkish inspiration behind the Agua de Coco 2013 collection. The label was granted unprecedented access to shoot in the World Heritage Site. With the backdrop of hot springs that molded white pools with their calcium deposits over the years, the label enlisted none other than supermodel Candice Swanepoel to shoot its first campaign outside of Brazil.
Edu Rezende, whose photos were utilized in some of the digital prints for the Agua de Coco 2013 collection (see below Capadocia, Yarn Dye and Sardine prints as some examples), also shot the campaign in Turkey. White, golden tones, blues and greens make up the main colors of the collection. Along with the use of draping and knots; new textured fabrics and edgier silhouettes were also introduced for the new season:
