"Sea Star" by VOGUE Brazil - January 2012
by The Splash
The January 2012 issue of VOGUE Brazil brings three up and coming models on the cover and in separate editorials - all woven together by the common thread of fashion inspired by ocean elements. On the cover, VOGUE calls Lais Ribeiro, Tayane Leao and Marcelia Freesz "Tropical Sirens" - no doubt the mermaid vibe is amplified by the opalized looks, pearls, sequins, embroidery details featured in the editorials. Here is Lais Ribeiro's feature, titled "Sea Star" (or starfish) posing in an aquarium in Sao Paulo for the lenses of Andre Passos. Stay tuned for the editorials with Marcelia and Tayane next!
