Last week, over 200 designers displayed their collections during the summer edition of the Rio Fashion Business 2011 event. Twelve hand-picked designers were also selected to showcase their latest creations on the runway. Making their marks on the swimwear arena were Despi and Bumbum Ipanema. Despi's collection was retro-inspired, with high-waists, heart-shape bustiers, and light ruffles. Bumbum's collection was a celebration of the flora, with plants, flowers, leaves and fruits in vibrant colors. Below are Despi's best cuts and Bumbum's most striking prints.
