Filled with high-tech fabric, jewel-tone palette and lots and lots of bling, Gottex showcased their 2011 collection at last week's New York Fashion Week. Molly Grad, the swimwear designer for the upmarket label, married technology and luxury for next year's collection, fusing materials such as foiled metal Lycra with embellishments like crystals and hammered titanium metals. Lots of wraps, cut-outs and some high-cut legs, the latter reminiscent of 80's swimsuits, also showed the intent of the label in 'celebrating women' and the female form. Glamorous beachwear is what Gottex is all about - and for next season, it shows!
