New York Fashion Week - Spring 2012 ended last week, and we're bringing you some of the swimwear showcased by a few top multi-range labels in fashion today. For these designers, 2012 swimwear will be retro, geometric, colorful and wild-chic.


Wild Tribe: Patterns inspired in natural and tribal elements like animal prints are a must (yes, that is a goldfish print on Miele's caftan!)


Very Retro: High rise/low-cut leg bottoms and bandeaus made their mark. Flowers, patterns with mini-animal motifs added some fun.


Geometry and colors that pop: Designers played with sinuous and straight lines, cuts and a mix of bright, vivid colors.
