Australian Fashion Week (RAFW 2011) was underway last week and as usual, a few local prominent swimwear designers graced the catwalks with their collections for Spring/Summer 2011-2012. Overall, designers played it safe and so, there were not a lot of surprises in terms of silhouettes, prints or embellishments. Vibrant colors continue to be strong, with a significant amount of reds (deep orange, coral, magenta, etc.) and blues.
